North Chagrin Hike

Description: Saturday July 15th @ 10:00 AM
North Chagrin Reservation Hike
Leader: Jan

3 Hikes in 1. We'll start from the Forest Picnic Area and take the bridle trail to the Hickory Fox Loop Trail and back. A distance of about 2.5 gently rolling miles. Then on to the Museum Trail where we'll visit the site of the Cleveland Metroparks first trailside museum and catch the newly reconstructed Sylvan Trail to one of the best views in the park. This will add a distance of about 1 mostly easy mile. For anyone who wants to continue on for more of a challenge, we'll take the Buckeye Trail down the hill to the Wilson Mills Trailhead and return up Foster's Run. Total mileage for all three loops will be about 6 miles.

Hiking boots are suggested as some portions of the trails are likely to be muddy. Dogs are welcome.

Meet at the Forest Picnic Area trailhead by the new A.B. Williams Memorial Rock. It is at the southern most end of Buttermilk Falls Parkway.
