Lakefront Nature Preserve Hike

Description: Sunday, March 5@1:30
COA Lakefront Hike
Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve
Leader; David

Join COA at the shores of our greatest natural asset, Lake Erie. We will begin with a short hike, about two miles, at Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve. Filled former lake, the preserve is a first or last US stop for migrating birds and home to permanent wildlife residents. Some creature spotting is assured.

From the preserve those interested will add walking distance along the lake.

Meet at the preserve. The Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve is located directly behind the Cleveland Metroparks Lakefront office at 8701 Lakeshore Boulevard NE, Cleveland, OH 44108. When traveling north on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, follow the road to the right as it becomes Lakeshore Boulevard heading east and make the first left into the Metroparks parking lot. Proceed on foot around the west side of the office to the Nature Preserve entrance.

From the East and West take I-90 to MLK, Head north on MLK towards the lake and follow directions above.

Dogs prohibited in park.
