  Canal Fulton Kayak/Canoe
Kayaking w/ Canal Fulton Canoe Livery Sunday, May 7, 2017 10:30am arrival; 11:00am Depart (2-1/2 to 3 hours) Leader: Michael Almony Canal Fulton Canoe Livery is centered between the Ohio Erie Canal Way Towpath and The Muskingum Trail. Total trip is 8.0 miles. Paddling options include a one-person kayak ($24.00), tandem kayak (41.25) or a 2-3 person canoe ($41.25 per canoe; cost can be split between the number of people). Trip should take 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Cash is accepted as well as Master Card, Visa and Discover. This trip contains no rapids. Shoes and life jackets must be worn at all times. Aquasocks, waterproof shoes or sandals, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water/snacks are recommended for those that need it. Return transportation to starting point will be provided. Dress appropriately as you most likely will get wet when on the river. Canal Fulton does not have lockers, please lock your valuables in a hidden, concealed spot in your car or leave your precious personal items at home for extra safety. We advise not taking anything on the river that you can't afford to lose or get wet. (Canal Fulton Canoe Livery, Inc.) is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced items). Coolers are permitted on canoes and kayaks. Glass bottles are not allowed on the river. It is Canal Fulton’s policy that alcohol and boating do not mix. Canal Fulton does have bathrooms for changing for those who need it. Canal Fulton livery is pet friendly. Dogs are welcome in canoes or kayaks, but when on the property they must be leashed. Reservations are required for weekend trips- as trips can fill up quickly. Any person interested must contact Canal Fulton Canoe Livery separately and reserve a kayak, tandem kayak, or canoe.
